1997 Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mouton Cadet and three other things.

 1. A few dusty bottles from the Ghosts of Cave Past have been bumping around, one of them being this 1997 Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mouton Cadet.  It generally hovers around $10 a bottle and most vintages fare not well at all on Cellartracker, including this one. It was opened yesterday about seven years after its prime and it has overwhelming leather and tobacco notes...at the expense pretty much anything else. Like the new flavor experience, though.

While working on that locker earlier this week, I found this wedged under some old boards.  Joe, of course, was your first Cave emcee. Did some investigating into who this may have belonged to and came up with a name, but I'm not certain if it was that gentleman's inventory or one previous to him. Nice list.
3.  This came in the mail today - well - probably yesterday but I didn't check mail until today.  Porn.  Can't wait until after work tonight!

4. One of the world's greatest named businesses ever was right here in Glendale.

Recently I rode by it and it was closed!  Say it isn't so!

I saw this in the paper today and Googled the address.  It seems to have moved into the Hammered space, so though the name is less awesome, the spirits remain the same.
