This dapper gentleman paid us a visit earlier today. After two hours visiting he was a little tuckered out by the time the cameras came out. Or maybe he was reacting to what I did to his Cave. Vern Homer, our ever stalwart captain, going it solo here minus wheelchair in evidence of his on-going recovery.Vern is on his way back to Michigan to spend time with his other daughter, and will be back here, both in California and at The Cave, January-ish. Until then, he leaves us his email address - seawolf1930@msn.com - and a book of his songs and poetry that is here at The Cave. It's good to see Vern, and I look forward to his squeezing us in for another visit between voyages. Come home safely, O'Captain.
