There are a lot of new faces at The Cave these days. As part of that I'm hearing why The Cave is the wine storage destination of choice.
Low on the rigmarole scale. It seems there is more than one facility that has a series of hoops to contest between your car and your wine. Here at The Cave the travel path is free of elevators, stairs, and other time-consuming impediments. (Sorry, brief pleasantries with resident troglodyte don't count.)
High on the accessibility scale. In addition to the easy pathway to your locker, the lockers themselves, being side-by-side rather than stacked, are also a big hit -not that any of us (or our backs) are getting older or anything. The sheer danger of moving those boxes around overhead was cited. Also more accessible is our location, cited by a newbie from DTLA. "You don't have to travel too deeply into Glendale to get to you." True: you zip along the 2 and down Broadway, you get here before hitting any local traffic.
In the end it's always the little things that can make or break a deal, and it's nice to hear that our style is matched by our substance.
