If you exited the Hotel Glendale Monday morning to go to work, you might very well have come home to The Standard Hotel, replete with new red awnings, a new pub featuring Carlton Draught beer, and an early seventies avocado green possibly Dodge Coronet.
Not to panic, just a commercial being shot, but I neglected to ask what it was for, a mystery with three possible answers: beer, car, hotel. Oh, four: none of the above. What could an Australian beer, an old American gas guzzler, and a hotel have in common? We'll just have to wait and see, I guess...
