Lights! Camera! Beer?

The Standard Hotel is in Melbourne Australia, pictured here with this Carlton Draught sign attached to it. (The guy who took that picture also snapped this Melbourne hotel, a little bit of awesome!)  Carlton Draught is an ale produced in Melbourne.

If you exited the Hotel Glendale Monday morning to go to work, you might very well have come home to The Standard Hotel, replete with new red awnings, a new pub featuring Carlton Draught beer, and an early seventies avocado green possibly Dodge Coronet.

Not to panic, just a commercial being shot, but I neglected to ask what it was for, a mystery with three possible answers: beer, car, hotel. Oh, four: none of the above. What could an Australian beer, an old American gas guzzler, and a hotel have in common?  We'll just have to wait and see, I guess...

...but it better be as good as this.
